This is the Tamar Valley Dairy The Creamery Greek Style Yoghurt Limited Edition Coconut & Finger Lime. It contained 10% coconut and finger lime ‘mix’, which included coconut, lemon juice concentrate, finger lime.

The fruit mix had a translucent green-yellow appearance and was generously distributed with each spoonful. Upon tasting, the citrusy and slightly bitter herbaceous notes of the finger lime were prominent in every bite, with the lemon juice serving to enhance the overall citrus flavour. However, the citrusy taste wasn’t overly tangy or sharp, as it blended harmoniously with the addition of cream, which also mellowed the usual tartness of Greek yogurt. The presence of desiccated coconut was primarily felt through its slightly rough texture, providing a pleasant contrast to the otherwise smooth and creamy yogurt base. It would have been even more appreciated if coconut cream had been used as a substitute for the dairy cream. Overall, this yogurt presented an intriguing regional flavour inspired by local produce. However, for everyday consumption, we would prefer the fresher and more delicate notes of strawberries and cream.
