This Whittaker’s Destinations Colombian Mango with Passionfruit is part of a larger series that brought ‘the fresh taste of tropical mango, perfectly balanced with tangy and bright passionfruit, and silky smooth, creamy (28%) white chocolate’.

The white chocolate has a a gentle, sweet tropical aroma that came through on tasting as a moderately tart passionfruit flavour that balances well with the sweeter whhite chocolate before the dried mango pieces bring a chewy change of texture and a prominent acidic sweetness that lingered on the palate. The white chocolate uses milk powder in addition to cocoa butter, which gave the chocolate a grainier mouthfeel that’s no where near as smooth and creamy as the melt-in-your-mouth Whittaker’s milk chocolate.

This Whittaker’s Destinations Colombian Mango with Passionfruit contained 100 g. It was produced in New Zealand and received as a gift from relatives visiting New Zealand.
