This Whittakers Block Peanut consisted of 25% roasted peanuts, surrounded by milk chocolate (33% cocoa).

We’re a huge fan of the Peanut Slab, so we were excited by the larger sharable format of this block. Here, the peanuts bring the same intense roasted nuttiness to every bite that holds their own to the sweetness of the smooth chocolate. The addictive crunch also came through, but the reduced peanut content — from 33% in the slab to 25% in this block — was evident in the slightly more prominent presence of the chocolate. Nonetheless, it retains the refined, high-quality taste we’ve come to expect from Whittaker’s.

This Whittaker’s Peanut Block contained 250 g. It was produced in New Zealand and received as a gift from family in New Zealand in 2020.
