This is the Whittaker’s Fruit and Nut. It combined Californian raisins with roasted almonds in 33% cocoa 5 Roll Refined Creamy Milk chocolate.

The block had a velvety milk chocolate aroma with a delicate undercurrent of nuttiness. Upon tasting, the milk chocolate, akin to the one found in their conventional milk chocolate bars, was delectably smooth and creamy and punctuated by its customary subtle caramel undertone. The inclusion of almonds introduced a gratifying crunch and a comforting, warm nuttiness. However, we did not enjoy the potent fruity sweetness and the tender, slightly fibrous texture of the raisins. We prefer Whittaker’s Almond Gold, which adeptly captures the delightful combination of milk chocolate and almonds without the inclusion of raisins.

This Whittaker’s Fruit and Nut contained 250 g. It was produced in New Zealand and received as a gift from relatives in 2023.
