This is Yeo’s Black Soy Drink. It contained 9% soybean and black soybean solids.

The beverage had an opaque white appearance. When consumed chilled, the rich flavour of soybean was immediately noticeable, accompanied by a thick mouthfeel. Despite containing only 5% sugar, it offered a surprisingly generous level of sweetness. The smooth texture and bold flavour of this soy drink were enjoyable, although a slightly less sweet taste would be preferable.

The flavour profile was distinctly Asian, owing to the higher soybean content and coarser grind compared to Western soy milks, which typically contain only 3.5%.

This Yeo’s Black Soy Drink contains 250 mL. It was produced in Malaysia and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
