This is the Nippon Yell Gummy Fukuoka Amaui Kiwi, purée from Fukuoka Sweet Kiwi, this local cultivar features yellow-green flesh and a milder profile than the green Hayward variety, with lighter sweetness and reduced acidity.

Each gummy was dome-shaped, approximately 2 cm in diameter and 1 cm in height, with an opaque yellow hue and a sweet, tropical kiwifruit aroma.

The exterior delivered a mellow sourness from the sour powder, giving way to a firm, bouncy chew. Unlike the Kōryoku and Tōkyō Gold variants, there was no softer jelly core. The kiwifruit flavour appeared early in the chew, offering a mellow sweetness and restrained tartness, which built into a richer juiciness with each bite as the sour powder continued to dissolve into the finish. While it did not match the fresh vibrancy of the Kōryoku Kiwi Gummy, it offered greater presence than the more subdued Tōkyō Gold Kiwi Gummy, capturing the Amaui variety’s gentle sweetness with clarity.
