This is the Haigh’s Chocolates Chocolate Nut Mixture. It contained 75% chocolate (milk and dark) and 23% nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, cashew nuts, macadamia nuts).

Approximately one-third of the nuts were coated in dark chocolate, while the remaining two-thirds were coated in milk chocolate. The bag contained an even mix of nuts, all roasted to enhance their flavour, while the chocolate layer varied from 4-7 mm in thickness and melted to a creamy smoothness. Our favourites were the almonds and hazelnuts covered in milk chocolate, which complemented the warm, slightly savoury nuttiness. In contrast, the dark chocolate introduced a fruitiness that somewhat overshadowed the nuts’ flavour, leaving them primarily to provide crunch. Overall, we enjoyed the variety and were impressed by the quality of both the nuts and the chocolate.
