This is the Heinz Tortellini Three Cheese with Creamy Mushroom & Bacon. It contained 2.3% cheese, made up of a blend of tasty, blue vein and parmesan cheese inside tortellini pasta and served in a mushroom (7%) and bacon (manufactured, 2.1%) sauce. It was ready after reheating either in the microwave for 2 minutes on high or on the stove.

The sauce was light tan with black speckles and tortellini pieces, each about 3 cm wide. It had a mildly cheesy aroma, but the taste was not as pungent as expected. The tortellini retained its shape well without becoming mushy. The predominant flavour was the thick, creamy mushroom sauce with a hint of pork richness from the bacon, reminiscent of Heinz’s mushroom and thyme soup, thickened with cheese. While it made for a quick and flavourful meal, we probably wouldn’t repurchase, as the cheese aspect wasn’t to our taste.
This Heinz Tortellini Three Cheese with Creamy Mushroom & Bacon contained 350 g. It was produced in New Zealand and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
