Each chip was triangular in form, measuring approximately 6 cm per side, with a vivid orange hue and an immediately assertive savoury cheddar aroma on opening the bag.

On tasting, the surface delivered a generous coating of Cheezels seasoning, reinforcing the familiar cheese-forward profile from the outset, before the chip itself provided a firm, clearly audible crunch. Unlike Cheezels, which rely on a relatively neutral corn extrusion to carry their flavour, the more robust corn base of the CC’s chip asserted itself quickly. As a result, the corn flavour began to compete with the cheese, and after several chips the balance tipped towards a saltier, more corn-forward profile than intended.

That said, the cheese seasoning itself was distinct from standard CC’s Supreme or Nacho flavours, reading unmistakably as Cheezels rather than a generic cheese dust. As a collaboration, it successfully merged two recognisable snack identities, even if the base chip ultimately diluted the signature Cheezels impact.

Overall, an interesting and novel crossover that is enjoyable in small amounts, though less cohesive than either product on its own.
