Each coffee bean was enrobed in a smooth, shiny 4 mm layer of milk chocolate. Upon tasting, the milk chocolate exterior offered a softer crunch compared to the crisper bite of the coffee bean centre. The coffee bean delivered an initial burst of aromatic coffee flavour, while the chocolate’s flavour emerged mid-bite, melting and blending with the coffee notes to create a rich, mocha-like taste. Towards the finish, the chocolate’s sweetness faded, leaving a subtle hint of bitterness from the remaining coffee bean nibs, resulting in a gentle, aromatic conclusion. Overall, these chocolate-covered coffee beans provided an enjoyable balance between the creamy sweetness of the chocolate and the , roasted notes of the coffee.
