It lacked any bitterness, astringency, or prominent dairy notes, striking a well-balanced profile for a milk tea. The sweetness level was just right, creating a refreshing drink—unexpectedly so for a milk tea.

The “snowy” component, jasmine-infused whipped cream, was equally delightful. It offered a distinct, dewy jasmine flavour without the overly indulgent quality often associated with whipped cream. The caramelised pecans added a satisfying crunch, with a rich nuttiness and a subtle savoury undertone that balanced the sweetness of the cream.

The layering of the drink, with the jasmine whipped cream separated from the dancong oolong by a reasonable layer of ice, ensured the two flavours could be enjoyed distinctly rather than muddling together. This thoughtful composition allowed the unique qualities of both the tea and cream to shine.

Overall, this was a highly enjoyable milk tea, and we would gladly repurchase it. However, with other flavours available, we would likely explore those before returning to this particular offering.
