This is the Ferrero Rocher Chocolate Bar Original Milk with Hazelnut, a milk chocolate bar filled with hazelnut cream filling and hazelnut pieces.

It consisted of 60% milk chocolate and 37% hazelnut cream. Hazelnuts, from both the cream and crushed pieces, made up 16% of the ingredients. The bar also had a minimum cocoa content of 27%.

On tasting, the chocolate was firm but did not deliver an audible snap. The raised mould, designed to resemble the surface of the original Ferrero Rocher, did not feature a different filling and contained the same hazelnut mixture. Biting through the thin layer of external chocolate, the soft and creamy hazelnut cream melted immediately on contact, releasing the crushed hazelnuts which featured prominently in every bite. However, this chocolate bar lacked the crispness from the wafer in the original Ferrero Rocher, and the higher ratio of chocolate and sugar made it overly sweet. Despite this, while we prefer the original Ferrero Rocher, we would eat this again if given the opportunity.
