This is the Kang Shi Fu Jasmine Honey Tea.

The beverage had a clear orange hue and emitted a sweet, fragrant jasmine aroma. Upon sipping it chilled, the jasmine notes were immediately prominent, further accentuated by the floral essence of honey. The combination of honey (and white sugar) with the roasted nuances of a pan-fried Chinese tea resulted in a surprising rich malt-like sweetness, imparting a ‘heavier’ flavour associated with an heavily oxidised oolong or black tea, compared to the usual floral lightness of jasmine green tea. Towards the finish, a subtle bitterness emerged, along with a lingering astringency from the green tea in the aftertaste. Overall, the vibrant jasmine notes, balanced sweetness, and pronounced tea presence made for a highly enjoyable beverage.

This Kang Shi Fu Jasmine Honey Tea contained 500 mL. It was produced in China and received as a gift in Sydney, Australia in 2023.
