The honeycomb variation on the regular nougat gave this chocolate bar the chewy sensation of eating honeycomb that’s been partially hydrated and no longer crunchy. It was not an unpleasant mouthfeel — just unexpected — with its bolder sweetness balanced well by the saltiness of the caramel that came through in the body and ebbed and flowed with each bite but otherwise persisted to the finish. The milk chocolate provided depth to the sweetness. Overall, this was an enjoyable twist on the original bar.
