Sangaria Umashuwa Kousui Soda

This is the Sangaria Umashuwa Kousui Soda. It contained 1% juice from koisui nashi pears produced in Tochigi Prefecture.

The beverage had a translucent off-white hue with a crisp, mellow sweetness reminiscent of fresh nashi pear and a moderate level of effervescence. When consumed chilled, the crispyly sweet notes of the koisui pear were immediately noticeable, deepening into a richer sweetness mid-sip. In the latter half, a mellow acidity balanced the sweetness, capturing the juicy crispness of the fruit. The bubbles provided a clean finish, leaving a light, refreshing aftertaste. Overall, the drink was worth repurchasing, yet also reminiscent of Hatai Pear Juice in a carbonated form (without the pear pieces), which is more accessible.

This Sangaria Umashuwa Kousui Soda contained 500 mL. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
