This is the Grapestone Sugar Butter Sand Tree Pistachio Chocolate, a product from the same company behind the famous Tōkyō Banana.

Each box contained 7 individually sealed biscuit sandwiches.

Each sandwich was rectangular in shape, 4.2 x 6 x 1.7 cm, and featured two biscuits sandwiching a layer of pistachio flavoured white chocolate cream. The ridged biscuits designed for easy cracking into bite-sized pieces for easy eating.

The cookie sandwich had a rich, sweet, nutty aroma. On tasting, the cookie offered a crisp, wafer-like crunch reminiscent of grain-based Cruskits. The sugar crystals on top added a gentle sweetness, while the initial firm crunch softened into a more delicate, flaky texture. The warmth of the wafers contrasted with the cooler, creamy chocolate centre, which provided a buttery mouthfeel similar to the milky taste of white chocolate in a Shiroi Koibito. The chocolate centre had a soft, nutty quality with a more pronounced sweetness than the biscuit itself. The combination of the cereal grain cookie and the pistachio in the white chocolate created a perfectly balanced sweetness and savouriness, along with contrasting textures, giving the overall impression of a delicious sweet butter sandwich.
