This is the Storck Nimm2 Smile Gummi Softies Berry Mix. They contained 25% fruit juice concentrate (grape, sour cherry, raspberry, blackcurrant, blackberry, elderberry).

The bag contained five shapes in three colours: dark purple, dark red, and yellow-green. However, the distribution of colours and flavours was uneven. The majority of the bag consisted of the top left  (blackcurrant) and top middle shapes (elderberry), with only two of the top right (unknown) and bottom right (sour cherry) shapes, and one each of the bottom left (unknown) and bottom middle  (unknown) shapes.

Uneven distribution aside, the gummies had a sticky exterior with a satisfying bouncy texture. Upon reaching the soft, gooey interior, each chew released a juicy fruity flavour. Below are the descriptions of the flavours for each shape or colour as far as we were able to identify.

Blackcurrant. The flavour was distinctly reminscent of blackcurrant pastilles, with the same rich fruity sweetness, and an increasingly juicy fresh acidity on reaching the interior.

Elderberry. This gummy had a yellow exterior with a green interior, the combination of which gave the slightly woodsy and floral notes characteristic of elderberry.

Sour Cherry. Despite its somewhat dubious cherry shape, this gummy unmistakably delivered the tangy taste of sour cherries. It evoked childhood memories of cough syrups, but in a pleasantly moderate manner, with its sweet exterior and sour interior.

Blackberry, raspberry and grape. The shapes and flavours resembling these fruits were a bit ambiguous. There were only 1-2 of each in the bag, and all of them offered a vague red/dark berry flavour that was sweet with a hint of acidity.

While the bag’s ambiguous flavours and shapes were disappointing, we found the toothsome texture and rich juicy fruit flavours enjoyable. However, for a more assured experience of distinct flavours, we would opt to repurchase a Japanese gummy instead.
