The Morinaga Pari Pari Sando, or “crispy sandwich,” featured biscuits made with Lorraine rock salt and crispy chocolate layers containing Belgian chocolate (1% of the product).

The ice cream sandwich measured approximately 7.5 cm in diameter and 2.5 cm in height.

Upon tasting, the biscuit was firm yet moist and soft, breaking easily with each bite. It delivered a mellow sweetness, enhanced by a subtle touch of salt, providing both textural and flavour contrast to the smooth, light vanilla ice cream within. The vanilla ice cream had a pleasant hint of vanilla that paired well with the crisp sheets of rich dark chocolate. The combination of these three components elevated the classic Western Viennetta ice cream experience, with the distinct textures and flavours of the higher-quality ingredients coming together to create a cohesive, rich, and indulgent frozen treat worth repurchasing.
