This is the Nippon Yell Gummy God Seven, a mixed fruit gummy made with fruit juices from seven flavours elected in the February 2024 “gummy general election”. The selected varieties were: Black King (renamed Kai King from 2024) from Yamanashi Prefecture, Irizen Jumbo Watermelon from Toyama Prefecture, Shine Muscat from Nagano Prefecture, Yūbari Melon from Hokkaidō, Yayoihime from Gunma Prefecture, Akatsuki from Fukushima Prefecture, and Gamagōri Mandarin from Aichi Prefecture.

Each gummy was dome-shaped, approximately 2 cm in diameter and 1 cm high, with an orange-brown hue. The aroma was that of a mixed fruit juice, with a notable presence of melon and a musky-floral character suggestive of peach and grape.

On tasting, the sour sugar crystals delivered a brief acidity and crunch, leading into a firm, bouncy chew. Unlike many others in the series, these gummies had no soft jelly core. The fruit flavours were blended rather than distinct, though the floral sweetness of peach emerged mid-palate, followed by strawberry notes in the finish. Throughout, the refreshing citrus brightness of the mikan cut through the richness of the other fruits, delivering a clean, layered profile with neither cloying sweetness nor tropical overkill.
