These are the UHA Mikakutō Cororo Melon, a limited edition released in 2019, which contained cubes of diced melon inside.

Each gummy is a green yellow colour with a sausage shape about 1.5 cm in length and 1 cm in diameter. The gummies have the sweet melon aroma that came through prominently after biting through the ‘skin’ that gave a little resistance to the teeth. After chewing the gummy a while, we encounter an audibly crunchy cube of melon (about 3 mm) in the centre that contrasts well with the softness of the rest of the gummy and provides a bright hit of the natural flavour of the melon with its gentle acidity that relieves the sweetness of the gummy somewhat. That said, we find the combination of flavours and textures to be more successful in the Kabaya Pure & Natural Gummy Melon.

This UHA Mikakutō Cororo Melon contained 40 g or 9 pieces. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Kumamoto, Japan in 2019.
