This T2 Sencha Peach is one in the T2 range that was discontinued at the end of 2017.

The tea is a looseleaf sencha blended with dried peach, mallow flowers and chamomile.

Steeping 3 g of looseleaf in 200 mL of water at 75°C, the infusion was a clear light straw colour with a prominent aroma of golden peaches. Served hot, the peach flavour came through at the start of the sip more restrained than the aroma would suggest. Mild vegetal notes of the sencha follow in the body with the natural sweetness of the peach and gentle earthiness of the chamomile mellowing the stronger vegetal flavour of the green tea and lingering in the aftertaste. Served chilled, the flavour of the peach is more pronounced, giving a fruity and refreshing iced tea for summer.

This T2 Sencha Peach contained 100 g. It was packed in Germany and gifted by colleagues in Sydney, Australia in 2017.
