After our positive experiences with their soursop and mangosteen nectars, FOCO 100% Coconut Water seemed like a good brand to pin our hopes on for delivering the flavour of fresh young coconut.

 

 

The beverage was a translucent off-white colour with a typical nutty and slightly acidic aroma typical of coconut. Served chilled, gentle nutty coconut notes came through ahead of a mellow saltiness developing in the body that’s followed by the subtle sweetness and acidity of young coconut in the finish. Coconut water is great for quenching thirst and this one is no exception, but it does lack the prominent sweetness of the juice straight out of a fresh young coconut. We’re beginning to think it’s not something you can find in processed coconut water.

This FOCO 100% Coconut Water contained 1 l. It was produced in Vietnam and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2018.
