A light peppery savouriness complemented the flavour. The sesame seeds (6%) contributed a crunchy nuttiness while enhancing visual appeal.

Overall, these were enjoyable, well-seasoned, and texturally balanced. They would work well as a party food, though they would not necessarily be a preferred choice over more substantial meal staples like har gow or gyōza.
