This Coca-Cola Raspberry is the latest flavour in their range of limited edition flavours after ginger and coffee.
The soft drink was a translucent deep brown-black colour with a sweet, fruity raspberry nose and moderate carbonation. Served chilled, mellow notes of sweet and tart raspberry came through in the head before the characteristically bold flavour of cola emerged in the body and finishing with a bright raspberry aftertaste that lingered long on the palate. The raspberry notes are immensely pleasant being just strong enough to make their presence known against the boldness of the cola, avoiding the sickly sweetness I’d feared. It’s a delightfully refreshing twist on traditional cola just in time for summer
