I enjoy visiting Asian supermarkets for their interesting flavours of ice cream that deviate from the more pedestrian flavours at Western supermarkets. And here we have Binggrae Slice Pop Kiwi & Mango. Slice Pop is a Korean ice pop that comes in a variety of other flavours, including blueberry or grapefruit.

Here the mango and kiwi are two flavours that appear independent of each other in one ice pop. The mango is bright with the flavour of the fresh and sweet ripe fruit, while the kiwifruit has cubes of the fresh fruit throughout. We enjoy the mango, but we’re not fans of processed kiwifruit – here, it tastes cooked and lacked the sweet tartness and texture of the fresh fruit that makes it so enjoyable.
This Binggrae Slice Pop Kiwi & Mango contained 85 ml. It was produced in South Korea and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2017.
