Happily, my earlier intolerance to Packham Pears seems to have passed, which means I can enjoy the fresh fruit again in all its non-cider forms. But I still enjoy pear ciders and this here is Kopparberg Pear Cider.

The cider is a translucent pale straw colour with a sweet pear nose and moderate carbonation. Served chilled, crisp notes of fresh pear came through in the head before the fragrant flavours of pear develop in the body with a balanced sweetness. The cider leaves a refreshingly clean finish and a subtle sweetness lingering on the palate. The notes of pear are bright and refreshing without being too scented or complex, while the cider pleasantly avoids any hint of bitterness characterising alcohol.
This Kopparberg Pear Cider contained 500 ml. It was produced in Sweden and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2017.
