Cottee’s/Schweppes Passiona was one of my favourite soft drinks as a child. It’s no longer as widely available, especially compared to Kirk’s Pasito or this Bundaberg Sparkling Drink Passionfruit. As with other Bundaberg drinks, it’s craft-brewed over 2 days.

The drink was a translucent golden yellow colour with a sweet passionfruit nose and moderate carbonation. Served chilled, tart tangy notes of fresh juicy passionfruit came through ahead of the fruit’s more fragrant sweet flavours emerged in the body, leaving a refreshing and balanced passionfruit flavour lingering on the palate. Compared to cheaper brands, this passionfruit soft drink had a more complex flavour that captured the tartness of the fruit in addition to its sweetness.
This Bundaberg Sparkling Drink Passionfruit contained 375 ml. It was bottled in Australia and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2017.
