The Nespresso Vivalto Lungo is a complex blend of separately roasted South American Arabica, Ethiopian Arabica and Brazillian Cerrado.
With an intensity of 4 out of 12, Vivalto Lungo comes in a periwinkle blue pod.
Made as a lungo, the coffee was a translucent deep black-brown colour with a roasted woody nose. Served hot, floral notes came through developing to a prominent fruity acidity in the body before roasted woody hints in the finish give way to a bitter aftertaste that lingered long on the palate. Overall, as a lungo, which passes much more water through the coffee grounds than an espresso, the Vivalto Lungo has a thinner mouthfeel with a more pronounced and less enjoyable bitterness than even the Nespresso Ristretto, the most intense espresso coffee capsule.
This Nespresso Vivalto Lungo contained 10 x 5.3 g capsules. It was produced in Switzerland and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2017.
