Gelato Messina continued its collaboration with Arnott’s in 2018 with a ‘Chill Me!’ range that’s best enjoyed just as the gelato that inspired them: chilled. This is reinforced by the packaging for the range, which is printed using thermochromic ink containing pigments that activate on a change in temperature. There are three flavours and this is the Arnott’s Tim Tam Messina Turkish Delight Chill Me!.
Served chilled, this Turkish delight Tim Tam has a fragrant aroma of rosewater. On tasting, the crispness of the biscuit gave way to the softer rosewater cream before encountering a firmer resistance from the chewy Turkish Delight in the centre of the biscuit. The Turkish Delight offsets the sweetness of the cream with a slight acidity while the milk chocolate lingered in the background. The presence of rose notes is unmistakable and prominent, creating an enjoyable textural experience for the Turkish Delight flavour.
