On a whim one afternoon, I changed up my favourite chicken and sweet corn soup for this Heinz Classic Soup Creamy Chicken & Mushroom. The soup contained 5% marinated chicken, 4.5% mushrooms, 2.4% onion as well as cream and spices.
Reheated on a stove, the soup is an opaque pale tan colour with a rich aroma of roast chicken (think the kind available roasted and ready to eat from the supermarket deli). Served hot, the soup has a creamy and thick mouthfeel with the same rich roast chicken flavour at the start of each sip. The mellow flavour of sauteed mushrooms came through towards the end of each sip. A generous amount of chicken and mushroom bits add texture and concentrated pops of flavour.
