This Arnott’s Tim Tam Slams Choc Hazelnut & Gooey Caramel is the last of the four flavours designed specifically for the cultural ritual that is the Tim Tam Slam.
Each biscuit is 7 x 3 x 1.5 cm and composed of milk chocolate enrobing two chocolate and hazelnut flavoured biscuits that sandwich two strips of hazelnut flavoured buttercream with a centre strip of gooey caramel sauce.
The combination of chocolate and hazelnut with a side of gooey caramel makes for a rich and decadent combination and it’s no different here. The enrobing milk chocolate brought an initial sweetness that’s countered by the crunch of the chocolate biscuits, while the notes of hazelnut in the cream add a warm nuttiness that contrasts well with the chewy texture and bright injection of sweetness from the gooey caramel. These were easily crowd favourites.
