This is another unbranded Jasmine Pearl Tea brought back to us from China.
The tea is looseleaf jasmine scented green tea shaped into pearls.
Steeping 6 g of looseleaf in 200 mL of water at 85°C for 2 minutes, the infusion was a clear golden straw colour a dewy jasmine aroma. Served hot, delicate jasmine came through before mellow buttery notes of Chinese green tea emerge with prominence in the body. The jasmine notes return with a rounded mouthfeel and a gentle sweetness in the finish, with the flavour carrying through subsequent infusions each at an additional 30 seconds. Overall, the flavour of this jasmine pearl tea is comparable to the other unbranded jasmine pearl tea we tried earlier.
This [Unbranded] Jasmine Pearl Tea contained 100 g. It was produced in China and received as a gift from an acquaintance visiting China in 2019.
