Cadbury Ice Cream Tub Boost

This Cadbury Ice Cream Tub Boost is Cadbury’s attempt at turning their much loved chocolate bar into ice cream form.

It’s described as ‘creamy chocolate flavoured ice cream with Cadbury milk chocolate chips, choc crisps and caramel sauce’.

The chocolate and caramel sauce had the right colours but sorely lacked richness, tasting much like cheap chocolate and caramel, while the choc crisps were bland without enough crunch or toasty flavour. Compared to the chocolate bar itself, the ice cream lacked the texture of the original. I have to admit that our tastebuds have been spoiled after the richness of our recent foray into ice creams by Ben & Jerry’s, Haagen Dazs and Harry’s Ice Cream, so it was inevitable that the mouthfeel and flavour of this Cadbury ice cream would be a let down.

This Cadbury Ice Cream Tub Boost contained 473 ml. It was produced in Australia and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2019.
