This Fruit Garden Hawaii Cocktail Tropical Fruit Tea is the second of the Fruit Garden teas we picked up near Okayama in 2015.
Each pyramid tea contained a blend of hibiscus, rosehip, dried apple and orange, and sunflower petals.
Steeping one 2 g tea bag in 200 mL of just boiled water for 2 minutes, the infusion was a transparent, bright ruby red with a tart berry aroma that recalled cranberries. Served chilled, prominent acidic notes came through from the hibiscus and rose hip while the orange and apple add a hint of citrus and sweetness that delivered an overall flavour that recalled a blood orange or a slightly sweetened cranberry juice without the bitterness.
This Fruit Garden Hawaii Cocktail Tropical Fruit Tea contained 10 tea bags or 20 g. It originated in Germany and was packed in Japan and purchased in Okayama, Japan in 2015.
