These are the Dark Chocolate Coated Coffee Beans made with 77% cacao dark chocolate. Each coated bean is about 1.5 x 1 x 1 cm in size, with 1 mm dark chocolate coating followed by a thicker 3 mm milk chocolate coating.
Upon tasting, the chocolate gave way promptly upon biting through with the coffee bean giving way to a crisp coffee bean. The coffee bean shatters crisply on biting and gave a deliciously roasted coffee flavour with just enough bitterness for the sweetness in the chocolate to counter. Indeed, they’re so enjoyable, with such a perfect balance of melting and crisp textures as well as sweet and bitter flavours that it’s difficult to stop at just a few.
