These were Mango Macadamias from Noosa Chocolate Factory. They’re around 3 cm in diameter and consist of a whole raw macadamia nut coated in 37% cacao white chocolate and 29% mango flavoured white chocolate.
These have a fragrant mango scent to them that came through mellow and fresh on tasting. Not roasted, the macadamia allows the mango flavour to shine while it’s relative ‘softness’ brought a brittle crunch to the tropical and creamy white chocolate. While we enjoy the tropical twist on these macadamia, we enjoy simple roasted macadamias more.
These Noosa Chocolate Factory Mango Macadamias were produced in Australia and received as a gift from family visiting Brisbane, Australia in 2019.
