We enjoyed the cold pressed Envy apple juice so much we returned for The Apple Press Cold Pressed Apple Pink Lady. It contained 90% cold pressed Pink Lady apple juice. and 10% crushed Pink Lady apples. Whereas the Envy was at the sweetest apple on the scale, this Pink Lady is the tartest.
The juice is a translucent straw colour with fresh, tart apple aroma. While we’re not usually fans of eating fresh fresh Pink Lady apples due to their tartness, we’re pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoy the juice. The freshness recalled the carbonation of the fresh apple, while the tartness recalled stewed Granny Smith apples in an apple pie but isn’t overly acidic like apple juice from concentrate. That said, we do prefer a sweeter apple juice so we may try the Jazz that sits in between the tart Pink Lady and sweet Envy.
