For a tropical twist, we picked up this Nudie Nothing But Pink Guava & Apple, which contained apple juice (80.3%) and guava purée (19.7%).
The juice is a translucent coral pink colour with an almost cloyingly sweet pink guava aroma. Served chilled, the tropical notes of the pink guava came through with a prominent sweetness that recalled a ripe pear with a hint of strawberry and a viscous, slightly gritty mouthfeel much like guava nectar that persists through to the finish. The apple juice acts more to thin the guava nectar and restrain any residual tartness, rather than as a flavour itself.
