This is the Harney & Sons Dragon Pearl Jasmine.
It consisted of pearls of jasmine scented green tea in pyramid teabags.
Steeping one 2 g teabag in 200 mL of 82°C water for 3 minutes, the infusion was a clear golden yellow colour with a delicate jasmine fragrance. Served hot, light toasty notes of the Chinese green tea came through at the head of each sip before a gentle sweetness emerged in the body to complement the bright dewiness of the jasmine that builds to prominence in the finish. Overall, the mellow notes of the green tea with its minimal astringency give it a rounder and more comforting mouthfeel than the grassier, vegetal notes of the T2 Buddha Tears.
This Harney & Sons Dragon Pearl Jasmine contained 40 g or 20 sachets. It was produced in the United States and received as a gift from acquaintances in Sydney, Australia in 2020.
