This is the Yoosh Green Tea. It has a low sugar content at 4.4% sugar and contained 36%’ aqueous flavour of green tea & jasmine’, by which we assume to mean it was made from concentrate.
The tea is a transparent golden orange colour with a gently sweet jasmine aroma. Served chilled, a mellow sweetness came through at the head of each sip before developing with dewy jasmine notes in the body. Lightly toasted notes of the green tea round out the sip with minimal astringency, with the initial sweetness lingering slightly in the aftertaste. The gentle sweetness of the tea gave it a smooth mouthfeel from start to finish, while the floral notes add a welcome lightness, to deliver a rather refreshing tea. Compared to bottled brewed teas from Japan, this one is a little weak on the tea and relies on the sweetness to carry the beverage.
This Yoosh Green Tea contained 1.47 L. It was produced in Taiwan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2021.
