This Nespresso World Explorations Vienna Linizio Lungo was inspired by the coffee from a Viennese cafe.

It’s a split roast of light-medium roasted Brazilian Arabicas and short-roasted washed Colombian Arabicas. It had an intensity of 6 out of 13 and came in an orange capsule with a repeating diamond motif.

Prepared as a lungo, the coffee was an opaque black-brown colour with a roasted, malty aroma. Served hot, the coffee had a very rounded and smooth mouthfeel and a light body. Roasted notes in the head were followed by the briefest hint of white floral in the body that rounded to a malty quality in the finish with a mild bitterness. The addition of milk lent a creamy mouthfeel and gentle sweetness that erased all traces of acidity in the coffee for a biscuity flavour. This coffee was enjoyable for its balanced bitterness and acidity and prominent roastiness.
This Nespresso World Explorations Vienna Linizio Lungo contained 10 x 5.5 g capsules. It was produced in Switzerland and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2021.
