This is the Peachy Milk Tea from Bubble Nini Tea ($8.50, large, regular sweetness, regular ice), a peach black tea base for the milk tea, with toppings of sakura pearls and diced peach.
Consumed chilled, the tea had distinct fruitiness, much like a peach oolong but with a much bolder flavour due to the black tea. The addition of milk gave the tea a rich and creamy mouthfeel. To complement this smoothness, the diced peach brought pops of fresh peach flavour with its sweet acidity and firm texture, while the sakura pearls added a contrasting soft, chewiness with a light sweetness and a floral hint that complemented the fruity peach notes. This was an enjoyable beverage but not as refreshing as milk-free fruity teas.
