The cider was a transparent golden-yellow colour with a sweet pear aroma. Served chilled, clean and crisp notes of pear came through at the head of each sip and developed with a bright sweetness into the body where it lingered long before receding to a mellow dry finish. Overall, the cider was enjoyable for its incredible fruitiness that captured the depth of fresh pears without any overt bitterness from the alcohol.
