This is the Suntory Gokuri Funwari Peach, a seasonal drink appearing during springtime in Japan. It contained 15% juice from white peach, as well as peach pulp.
The drink featured an opaque pale orange colour with suspended orange specks and emitted a sweet white peach aroma. Enjoyed chilled, the crisp sweetness of juicy white peaches remained prominent from the initial sip all the way through to the finish, where a subtle acidity emerged to accentuate the freshness of the flavour. The beverage had a smooth viscosity that coated the palate without the overwhelming sweetness often found in peach nectar. Although the peach pulp was visible, it remained undetectable on the palate, contributing no texture like in the Pokka Sapporo Hoobaru Fruit Tsubu Tsubu Tappuri Zeitaku Mikan. Nevertheless, this drink provided a delightful experience, skillfully capturing the invigorating, gentle sweetness of ripe white peaches with elegance.
