The three flavours – dark (dark brown), milk (medium brown), and white (cream) – were discernible upon tasting, and the spectacled variety presented a mild chocolate profile similar to milk chocolate. The coffee beans used complemented the chocolate’s flavour without introducing any pronounced bitterness, adding a delightful crunch to the experience. Considering the subtle acidity in the dark chocolate and our general preference against white chocolate, we found the milk chocolate version to strike a more balanced note. It offered a gentle, sweet creaminess, an optimal mix of sweetness, richness, and bitterness, along with a pleasing interplay of creaminess and crunchiness in terms of texture.
