This is the Myrons’ Stars Pork Crackling Hot & Spicy.
The pieces of pork crackling varied in size and were coated with a black and red seasoning of salt and chilli. On tasting, the crackling was intensely crunchy, and offered a savoury start with minimal heat until the finish, where bold chilli emerged to give a fiery heat at the back of the throat, slowing us down. While we appreciated the spicy heat and crunchy texture, many pieces had burnt seasoning, resulting in a bitter taste that detracted from our overall enjoyment.
