The beverage had an opaque yellow-orange hue and a sweet tropical aroma of Filipino mangoes with a light carbonation. Sipped chilled, the mango and apple juice combination offered an initial fruit punch-like flavour with the mango recalling the tropical sweetness in Cocoaland Lot 100 Mango Gummy, while the apple provided a subtle acidity that complemented the mango’s richness. Unlike the tangy sweetness of an Australian Kensington Pride, the mango flavour here was more akin to the luscious sweetness found in mangoes from the Philippines. As the sip progressed, the apple’s sweet acidity faded, allowing the mango’s aromatic sweetness to linger on the palate, ahead of the gentle carbonation leaving a clean aftertaste. Overall, this beverage was refreshing and celebrated the mango’s flavour with inobtrusive assistance from apples.
