This is the Gluup Deli Log Konjac Jelly Yuzu. It gained its flavour from yuzu concentrate and yuzu oil as well as other artificial and natural flavours.
Both the juice and jelly had a translucent clear hue, offering mellow citrus floral notes but lacking acidity or zestiness. Consumed cool, the yuzu notes were evident from the start, with the liquid delivering sweet yet similarly mellow yuzu flavours. These developed some acidity towards the finish but overall tasted watery, with the floral notes of yuzu noticeably enhanced by the addition of yuzu oil. The use of artificial sweeteners—erythritol, acesulfame potassium, and sucralose—was very obvious. While they did not leave a bitter aftertaste, the lack of sustained sweetness contributed to the thinness of the yuzu flavour in the juice. Texturally, the presence of xanthan gum was also noticeable, giving the jelly a stodgy consistency with some chunks firmer than others, distinct from the smooth, slurpy, and bouncy consistency of konjac jellies produced in Japan. Overall, the texture and flavour of this jelly made it not worth repurchasing.
