This is the Asahi Mitsuya 100% Grape Mix. It contained 100% fruit juice from a mix of mainly red and white grapes produced in Argentina and Brazil as well as apples.
The beverage had an opaque deep purple-red hue and a mellow aroma of musky purple grapes with gentle carbonation. Consumed chilled, the skillful blend of red and green grapes was immediately evident, producing an incredibly smooth grape flavour. The gentle floral acidity of the green grapes restrained the usual intense musky sweetness and astringency of the purple grapes. The addition of apple juice provided a neutral yet fresh sweetness, and the gentle carbonation enhanced the refreshing quality of the juice, leaving a clean aftertaste. This mix of fruit juices was well-balanced, conveying a luxurious grape flavour worth repurchasing.
