This is the UHA Mikakutō Kororo Crown Melon, made with a blend of Crown melon purée from Shizuoka Prefecture.

Each gummy was shaped like a miniature sausage, measuring approximately 2 cm in length and 1.5 cm in diameter, with a deep yellow-green hue and a pronounced sweet melon aroma. The outer “skin” provided light resistance before giving way with a snappy bite to the jellied interior. This interplay between the firmer casing and the soft, melting centre echoed the texture of thick melon purée—silky, concentrated, and true to the fruit.
Flavour-wise, the gummies opened with a soft, restrained melon sweetness, reminiscent of the outer flesh of a melon, before developing mid-chew into a fuller, more aromatic profile. The flavour deepened to express the rich, honeyed musk of the central flesh near the seeds, complemented by a touch of juicy acidity for clarity and balance. The profile effectively captured the hallmark characteristics of Crown melon—overflowing juiciness, refined sweetness, and smooth mouthfeel—while the Cororo format elevated the experience with its unique, dual-textured structure.
Overall, a smooth, layered expression of Crown melon in gummy form, with authentic flavour and signature Kororo texture—refined and worth repurchasing.
This UHA Mikakutō Cororo Crown Melon contained 40 g. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sendai, Japan in 2024.
